Last night, I was playing ‘21’ (the basketball shooting game) with Cec at the gym, and after he missed on his 3rd shot, it was my turn. I then hit like 11 shots in a row to win, I think it was the first time I’ve ever done that in my life! I was in the zone, every shot just felt so smooth coming off my fingertips, and every shot was one of those that would just go straight through the net and make the net bounce up a bit. It was soooo sweet. Of course, the next game, Cec went on a run of his own and hit 8 in a row, and beat me 21-5. But damn…still can’t believe I made it to 21 without missing.
Oh and the Sheppard subway line finally opens this Sunday! I think it’ll save me at least half an hour every day… crowded Finch buses always stop at every stop on my way home.
