I’m so fed up with the TTC right now. Last night, it took about 15 minutes to get from Bloor to St. Clair (normally a 5 minute ride), because of ‘signal problems’. And a couple of weeks ago, there were 2 or 3 days in the same week where they must have only had 5 subways running the whole Yonge/University line in the morning, cuz I’d be waiting 10-15 minutes for a subway to arrive at Sheppard station, along with the 500 other commuters at the station, desperately hoping that the subway would stop so that one of its doors would be directly in front of the line I was standing in. Of course, even if that did happen, the subway would be totally crowded from all the people getting on at Finch, so only 3 or 4 people would get in each time, and it would end up taking me 1.5 hrs to get to work instead of 45 minutes. What’s wrong with the TTC? I mean, when I was in Hong Kong, the subway arrived always on time, and always stopped at the exact same place at each station – they had indicators on the floor of where to line up, since that’s where the doors would be. It’s just so efficient there, and I’m sure Japan is the same way. In Europe too it’s like that, why can’t the TTC learn how to do things properly like that??? Argh. Anyways, today’s my last day of work, I had a little bit of work to do this morning, but I finished that so the rest of the time I’ve been looking up pictures of the resort that we’ll be staying at in Cuba…here’s a good link to a bunch of pictures of the area I’ll be staying in…I can’t wait to get there! Just looking at all these pictures puts a huge smile on my face…only 2 more days to go…
I just looked over at Russ' computer to see what he was doing (I can't be the only one slacking on a Friday morning right...?), and he's got the Toronto weather forecast page open...cloudy and rainy, cloudy, partly sunny, sunny and cold....hahaha BOOYAH! I'm gonna be getting sunny, sunny sunny, sunny sunny and more sunny sunny sunny!
