wow...so much snow. I had to shovel the driveway twice yesterday! And all this just a week after returning from sunny Cuba. Ahhh...definitely a very relaxing trip. It was kinda weird tho, spending Christmas in the sun and sand instead of in the snow, not that I'm complaining or anything. The highlight of the trip had to be the horse riding, even tho my butt hurt for the next couple of days afterwards. We got to ride along the beach, it was like a scene straight out of a movie, well, except for the part when I turned around to take a picture of Sue's horse and it was peeing. The lowlight of the trip? Probably when I had to pay $20 USD to the doctor there just so that I could get some hydrocortisone cream for my bug bites. After the first or second day we were there, I had 20-plus bites on one leg. There must have been a family of bugs living in my bed or something, cuz neither Sue or Warren had many bites on their legs even by the end of the trip (although Dave had at least 150). Anyways, I went to the gift shop hoping that maybe they'd have some sort of anti-itch cream there, but they told me to go to the medical office, and I went straight in without looking at the sign on the door first, only realizing afterwards that they charged a $20 'consultation fee' no matter what the situation was. All the doctor did was touch my bites and tell me that there were inflammations on my skin because of the bites! It took him maybe a total of 2 minutes, and for that I was charged $20!! Other than that the trip was great, definitely something I'd do again.
