So here I am, sitting at work after the long weekend. It’s my second week of work now, but waking up at 7:30 every morning still sucks. Work itself isn’t too bad, they usually keep me pretty busy with stuff to do, and there are other coops here, but we’re not all sitting in the same area like we were last summer. I guess they figured we weren’t doing enough work since we were always talking so much. But I don’t see what the difference is, cuz I don’t think we’re more productive now, it’s just that now, if I want to take a break, instead of talking to the other coops, I’ll surf the web a bit.
Went up to Calvin’s cottage over the long weekend, the weather was amazing the whole weekend, so we did a lot of canoeing and other stuff out on the water. I also found out that the girls (specifically Sue and Cindy) aren’t exactly the biggest Kylie Minogue fans. I wouldn’t have minded listening to “Love at First Sight” 3 or 4 times in a row, but I think if I’d done that, I woulda got a major beatdown.
My brother also moved up to Queen’s yesterday, I felt so bad cuz I couldn’t go up with him to help him out, but I talked to him, and everything went ok. I still can’t believe he’s in university now! I feel so friggin old.
